Speaking With Coaches
Although we encourage parent participation in their swimmers
progress, the coaches are responsible for a large number of
swimmers during practice sessions, plus a lot must be
accomplished during each session.
Parents should refrain from assisting coaches in anyway
unless specifically requested by the coaches. The coaches
are former competitive swimmers as well as trained in teaching
young swimmers. They can well gauge the progress and
abilities of our swimmers.
Please avoid conferences with coaches during practice
sessions. If you need to speak to a coach regarding a
practice issue, please use one of the following times:
- Prior to the 5:00 pm practice
- After the 7:00 pm practice
- After the 8:30 am practice
- Or contact them by phone or
e-mail
Issues regarding swim team policy, meets or grievances should
be directed toward a Board Member.
The coaches are assigned to specific lanes of children for
meets, so it would be a good idea for you to find out the name
of your child's coach. Simply ask your swimmer, the
coaches will introduce themselves at the practices.
