Championship Series
Last Chance Meet - This meet provides swimmers who are
close to achieving a championship time one "Last Chance" to get
to
the champ time so they can participate in the Championship Meet.
Date, time and location will be announced as soon as we know.
Swimmers must be close (3 seconds or less) to the qualifying
times for each event they wish to enter in the meet. There
is usually a $2.00-$3.00 per event fee. These times are
posted in the SBAST Handbook, CCSL Handbook, and on the CCSL web
site. You can view Championship Series cut-off times by
clicking here. Novice/Reserve Meets - This meet
will be held at the end of the regular season. Swimmers
with Novice or Reserve times will be eligible to participate in
these events. This meet will be held June 30th at
Baytown's Ross S. Sterling High School. Championship Meet
- All twenty (20) competing CCSL teams compete in one
Championship meet. Teams receive scores and the winning
team receives a trophy. This meet will be held July 1st at
Baytown's Ross S. Sterling High School. Any swimmer who has
achieved a championship qualifying time in any stroke is
eligible to participate. Swimmers do not have to have
qualifying times to swim relay events at the Championship meet.
Swimmers are awarded ribbons and medals at this meet.
